Installation
When you select installation by our factory trained engineers you are choosing the highest quality lift installation to make the most of your new PLS lift.
What You Get
Your lift will be installed by an approved engineer that has been trained by us. Installation is only ever completed by PLS engineers or carefully selected and approved installation partners.Using approved installation service helps ensure your equipment is safe, and that your warranty is maintained for the future.
We travel to you and complete the install at your premises
In instances where installation cannot be completed at your premises installation can be completed at our factory.
A full initial LOLER Statutory Thorough Examination and Weight Test completed before the installation is signed off. Digital copies of installation certificates are instantly emailed to you for your records. We also automatically register your lift warranty with our PLS Assist team.
Our engineer can demonstrate proper use of the equipment and answer any questions before we depart, helping ensure you get the most out of your new PLS lift.
What We Need
Loading/Unloading
We require a fork lift truck and trained driver available to help unload and manoeuvre your lift throughout our visit. A pallet truck is also required during the installation.
Vehicle Availability
The vehicle must be available for the extent of the day on which your installation is booked. The vehicle must be in a suitable condition for our installation, including all flooring components installed prior to our arrival.
Working Space
Our engineers require a safe working space indoors with suitable facilities to complete installation.
Electric Vehicles (EVs)
You’ll need to provide suitable routing for hydraulic and electrical cabling when a power pack is to be fitted internally.
Vehicle Modifications
Removal, modification, alteration, or repositioning of the spare wheel, exhaust system, rear bumper, reversing sensors, and brake pipes are not provided as part of our installation process unless by prior agreement.
Suspension will only be modified through installation of a suspension upgrade kit purchased from PLS.
