Somebody new is driving
A new starter has never used a passenger lift. They need to be safe and confident on it before they carry anyone.
It’s been a while
An experienced driver needs a refresher — particularly on the manual operation that only matters when something goes wrong.
You want to do it in-house
You run a fleet and you have your own technicians. You want them able to maintain and LOLER examine PLS lifts themselves.
Training
Two courses. Both hands-on.
Content is set against the PLS lifts you actually run, and courses can be combined into a single visit. Tell us the situation on the form and we’ll put the right day together.
Operator training
If your drivers or attendants use a PLS lift, they need to know how to use it safely and securely. This covers the most basic use of the lift right through to manual operation in an emergency.
