Passenger Lift Solutions recently conducted our second ‘Train the Trainer’ session for Driver Training Officers from Hertfordshire County Council. This approach ensures their staff receive consistent, expert training to confidently and safely operate our vehicle passenger lifts.

During the session, we focused on correct lift operation protocols, safety procedures, and assisting passengers with varying accessibility needs. The ‘Train the Trainer’ model allows Hertfordshire’s own certified trainers to instruct drivers effectively using our established best practices.

As the council prepares an updated passenger lift policy, our thorough training will guide the development of procedures that prioritise safety for staff and passengers. During our session, we highlighted the importance of adhering to industry guidelines for operating cassette lift systems on their minibuses.
