At PLS, we are continuously innovating to enhance our passenger lifts and make transportation more accessible. Our newest model, the EA-Lift™, has undergone a complete redesign focused on modularisation for easier installation and maintenance. We’ve also incorporated advanced weight-saving technology without compromising the lift’s durability and load-bearing capabilities.
Using 3D CAD stress testing and real-world weight testing, our engineering team can analyse exactly where material can be reduced or strengthened on each component. The EA-Lift™ features a modular design rather than welded construction, allowing us to strategically select materials to optimise the weight and performance.
The most visible example of weight savings is the formed steel platform. The surface reduces the overall weight of the lift, while remarkably preserving its strength and load-bearing capabilities as validated through testing.
This strategic material hybridisation allows us to thoughtfully reduce weight through extensive analysis and testing, enabling reduced fuel costs and maximized interior vehicle capacity, while maintaining the robustness required for heavy daily usage.
Excitingly, at PLS, we are taking a step further towards sustainability by incorporating bioplastics derived from renewable resources into our manufacturing process.
