PLS will be exhibiting their ground-breaking new models at Busworld Europe in Brussels from 7-12 October, 2023. Located at Hall 8, Stand 858, PLS will unveil the new universal coach lift – Motus™, and the updated EA Lift™ inboard lift.

The Motus™ cassette lift represents a significant advancement in lift design, primarily focusing on reducing weight, a game-changing achievement that translates to approximately 20% weight saving. This reduction enables enhanced fuel efficiency, contributing to cost savings, environmental sustainability, and increased passenger and luggage capacity.

The military-grade bearing slides ensure smooth operation even under extreme conditions. As a fully inclusive lift with an internal powerpack, the Motus™ requires minimal adjustments for installation while maximising safety and reliability through enclosed hydraulics and electrical braking. Importantly, Motus™ significantly reduces power consumption by an impressive 65%.

Safety features include auto-levelling, anti-roll back, emergency manual backup, and ‘smart brake’ which eliminates the need for many mechanical parts, reducing complexity and weight, whilst increasing reliability.

The ergonomic handrail provides effortless boarding, while the robust low-profile roll stop and bridging plate ensure secure transitions. With significantly reduced power draw and versatile mounting, the Motus™ facilitates fuel efficiency and increased passenger capacity.

The other significant launch during Busworld is the updated EA Lift™ our inboard lift which has been engineered for optimal stability, simple installation and weight saving.

Three platform options are available: EA-V (vertical split), EA-H (horizontal split) and EV-S (solid). The modular construction allows for quick installation and maintenance access. The new punched steel mesh platform is lighter, and provides high traction and easy cleaning. The outer barrier levers create an exceptionally sturdy lift housing that securely contains the platform, even on uneven terrain. To elevate overall comfort, PLS has introduced additional rigidity braces beneath the platform to ensure stability even with changing load conditions.
